PR & Communications Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking a PR & Communications Subject Matter Expert to work on an hourly, remote contractor basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated public‑relations content, provide detailed feedback, and create gold‑standard deliverables that help improve the accuracy and safety of AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed prompts and high‑quality PR assets (press releases, statements, FAQs, pitches, communication plans) for AI training.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated responses for clarity, tone, stakeholder fit, and compliance.
• Identify narrative gaps, reputational risks, bias, and factual errors; conduct fact‑checking as needed.
• Write precise feedback and model rewrites that demonstrate best‑practice communications.
• Rate multiple AI outputs on effectiveness, correctness, and reasoning quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional PR or communications experience in agency or in‑house settings.
• Proven ability to craft press releases, media pitches, statements, talking points, and internal communications.
• Strong understanding of crisis communications, risk assessment, and compliance considerations.
