Production Executive

About the role

The Production Executive supports the Senior Manager, Production in overseeing daily production activities and ensuring high-quality products meet KO standards, regulatory requirements and operational targets. The role covers production process management, equipment reliability, safe working conditions and continuous improvement, with compliance to GMP and Integrated Management Systems (KORE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000).

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior Manager, Production and ensure manufacturing processes and records comply with KO standards and regulations.
• Manage area-specific production processes and drive continuous improvement by resolving operational issues and implementing planned improvements.
• Monitor production schedules, quality requirements, materials and line performance to hit daily targets and plant KPIs (TDQ, PDR, Perfect Order, equipment efficiency, maintenance metrics), while managing labor and operating costs.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs covering safety, food safety, environmental and regulatory policies.
• Apply Integrated Management Systems (KORE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000) in manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate maintenance planning and production maintenance with the maintenance team to maximize equipment reliability and utilization.
• Conduct root cause analysis and hazard assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain production process documentation and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Participate in production and workforce scheduling, and facilitate team meetings and improvement discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or mechatronics engineering from a recognized university.
• 4-5 years of manufacturing or production operations experience, including supervising multiple production lines, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of food packaging, food safety and quality, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, ingredient handling, statistical process control, critical control points and new product scale-up.
• Knowledge of operational excellence, Lean Six Sigma, 5-Why and 5-S, and production KPIs.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, project management and decision-making skills; effective communication and teamwork.

• SAP, including production reporting and PI sheet closure
• Microsoft Office and general computer-based systems
