Program Coordinator – Pakistan

About the role

The Program Coordinator will lead the planning, execution and follow‑up of Operation Smile’s surgical and non‑surgical medical programmes across Pakistan. Reporting to the Regional Director, the role balances multiple projects, builds partnerships with hospitals and NGOs, and ensures smooth patient care delivery through the Hub‑and‑Spoke model.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and lead surgical programmes, including fact‑finding, patient recruitment and coordination with partner hospitals.
• Manage Hub and Spoke activities, establishing care‑delivery processes and building medical teams at partner sites.
• Schedule patients, arrange transportation, maintain medical records and respond to record requests.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for Operation Smile Pakistan and the International office.
• Support the clinical team and coordinate logistics for medical supplies and equipment.
• Facilitate volunteer recruitment, vendor selection and competitive pricing for programme needs.
• Assist with research projects and special initiatives within Pakistan and the wider Asia region.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Experience in coordinating healthcare programmes or similar multi‑stakeholder projects.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with hospitals, NGOs and volunteers.
• Attention to detail in record‑keeping and reporting.
• Ability to travel within Pakistan for site assessments and programme implementation.
