Property Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Property Accountant to manage the financial operations of our property portfolio. This remote, full‑time position reports to the Vice President of Property Accounting and supports property managers across Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash balances.
• Process weekly accounts payable check runs and resolve AP issues.
• Prepare balance‑sheet reconciliations, journal entries and straight‑line rent adjustments.
• Assist property managers with expense analysis, accruals, CAM reconciliations and management fee calculations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers.
• Handle cash‑flow forecasting, bank wires, transfers and lender reserve draw requests.
• Maintain fixed‑asset depreciation/amortization schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in property accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Yardi property‑management software.
