Research Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

About the role

Ipas Pakistan is looking for a Research Monitoring and Evaluation Officer to support its research M&E unit. Working under the RM&E Advisor, you will ensure accurate data management, monitor project progress, and contribute to the design and documentation of research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection, analysis, and donor reporting.
• Enter and maintain project data in the designated database, ensuring quality and confidentiality.
• Assist program teams, partners, and consultants in designing studies, surveys, and routine monitoring tools.
• Compile and present findings for internal use and external conferences, including abstracts and papers.
• Track project milestones against the work plan and update the Balanced Scorecard monthly.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background in public health, social sciences, statistics, or a related field.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluation, data management, or research coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
