Restaurant Operations Manager – Islamabad

About the role

The Restaurant Operations Manager will lead day‑to‑day activities at Grand Islamabad Hotel’s Havana Terraces restaurant, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for guests. Reporting to senior hotel leadership, the manager is responsible for overseeing a team of 20 staff, maintaining high standards of service, food safety, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all restaurant staff, handling hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Control inventory through regular audits, manage stock levels, and implement waste‑reduction measures.
• Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Develop, monitor, and manage the restaurant budget, controlling costs while maintaining quality.
• Oversee POS system usage to accurately track sales and daily transactions.
• Maintain quality standards for food preparation, presentation, and service.
• Handle customer feedback promptly to improve satisfaction.
• Negotiate with suppliers for timely procurement and optimal pricing.
• Analyze sales and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to all local labor and health regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience managing a restaurant or similar food‑service operation.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
