Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Dubizzle Labs you will ensure that our services are healthy, monitored, automated and built to scale. You will partner with development teams from design through production, focusing on reliability, performance and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Own the health, performance, efficiency and capacity of the production environment.
• Design and implement automation‑focused systems for large‑scale operations.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Collaborate with developers on operations‑related issues and provide production‑like environments for testing.
• Create monitoring tools for custom applications in a large‑scale setting.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, application and network problems across the stack.
• Migrate legacy applications to modern platforms with minimal downtime.
• Participate in a shared 24 × 7 on‑call rotation and document system designs and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting high‑volume, customer‑facing services.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Proven experience running infrastructure at scale with Kubernetes (EKS or similar).
• Experience migrating traditional stacks to AWS container services.
