Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Ibex. is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end‑to‑end technical implementations for enterprise customers. You will translate complex workflows into production‑ready AI solutions while collaborating closely with both customers and internal technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementations from kickoff through production launch.
• Build integrations using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, APIs and webhooks.
• Work directly with enterprise customers and their technical teams.
• Design, test, and improve AI agents, prompts, retrieval, and tool‑based workflows.
• Troubleshoot integrations, data flows, and production issues.
• Drive testing, monitoring, launch readiness, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software, solutions, implementation, or forward‑deployed engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on JavaScript/Node.js expertise.
• Extensive experience with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, and system integrations.
• Proven ability to take complex requirements from discovery to production.
• Practical understanding of AI/LLMs, prompting, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), and agentic systems.
• Excellent customer‑facing communication and problem‑solving skills.
• High ownership and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
