Senior Interior Designer

About the role

Basit Lashari Interiors is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its Karachi studio. This full‑time, on‑site role involves leading design projects from concept development through to final execution, working closely with clients and the internal team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to completion, including client consultations and space planning.
• Prepare detailed drawings, presentations, and coordinate FF&E selections.
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction and collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
• Mentor junior team members, manage project timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality.

Required profile

• Strong skills in interior design and space planning with a portfolio of residential and/or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in architecture and construction drawings and ability to coordinate with on‑site teams.
• Experience in FF&E selection, specification, and vendor coordination.
• Relevant academic background in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, client management, and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail, strong time‑management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
