Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Software Finder is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead legal and compliance initiatives, support strategic decision‑making and protect the organization’s interests as it expands locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary legal advice to leadership on corporate, commercial, employment and regulatory matters.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage client, vendor, service, NDA, partnership and employment agreements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, develop compliance frameworks and recommend risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Advise on corporate governance, prepare resolutions and support board meetings.
• Manage pre‑litigation disputes, coordinate external counsel and develop avoidance strategies.
• Draft, update and communicate internal policies; conduct legal awareness training for staff.

Required profile

• LL.B. from a recognized institution (LL.M. preferred).
• 7‑9 years of post‑qualification experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex commercial negotiations and business transactions.
• Excellent analytical, drafting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Expertise in corporate law, commercial law, contract management and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced legal drafting and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of Pakistani law and relevant international jurisdictions.
