About the role
The Junior Counsel will support the legal team in drafting contracts, managing the contract lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with local regulations in Pakistan.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents.
- Assist in managing the contracts repository and lifecycle management system.
- Communicate and negotiate with internal and external parties, including regulators and public authorities.
- Apply risk management techniques and provide proactive legal advice.
- Provide clarification on legal language and specifications to the organization.
- Maintain current knowledge of legislative changes and case law, updating counsel as needed.
- Assist in investigations and implement the Business Integrity program in Pakistan.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Work experience in the legal sector.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to handle complex matters with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong multitasking and senior stakeholder management skills.
