- Maintain Tier 2 compliance policies and give input to Tier 1 policy reviews.
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations and communicate them across the company.
- Drive company-wide communication and training on compliance and set the tone for ethical conduct.
- Administer the integrity reporting portal, triage cases confidentially and report usage trends to leadership.
- Lead or oversee internal investigations into misconduct and policy breaches, coordinating with the Ethics Committee, People, Legal and business units, and recommending corrective or disciplinary action.
- Refer complaints of sexual harassment or gender-based discrimination to the statutory Inquiry Committee under the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010, and follow statutory procedures instead of the compliance process.
- Design and run the compliance monitoring and testing program, run compliance risk assessments and report metrics and incidents to senior management and the Board.
- Act as point of contact for sector and operational regulators, maintain the policy inventory and escalate material breaches to the Board Audit Committee.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related discipline, with 8 to 12 years of progressive experience in compliance, ethics, legal, audit or risk within a listed company or multinational.
- LLB or Master's preferred; experience running investigations and whistleblowing/integrity programs strongly preferred.
