Senior Roku Engineer - Remote

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Roku Engineer to join a fast‑paced team building high‑quality OTT and streaming experiences for connected TV platforms. The role is fully remote and ideal for a developer with strong commercial Roku experience who enjoys creating scalable, data‑driven applications and shaping modern streaming technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain Roku applications using BrightScript, SceneGraph, and the latest Roku SDKs.
• Manage the full Roku development lifecycle from concept through App Store submission and ongoing maintenance.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel‑perfect UI/UX implementations.
• Build reusable and custom SDK components to enable scalable development.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications for reliability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with attention to edge cases.
• Contribute to platform tooling, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and best‑practice documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of commercial Roku development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast‑paced environment.
• Overlap with US time zones (6‑7 hours PST).
