Service Engineer – Processing Machines

About the role

Tetra Pak Pakistan is seeking a Service Engineer (Processing) to deliver preventive and corrective maintenance for processing equipment at customer sites. You will work hands‑on with mechanical, electrical and automation components, ensuring machines run efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites across Pakistan (and occasional international assignments) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on processing machines.
• Diagnose and resolve electro‑mechanical, hardware, software and network issues.
• Develop, troubleshoot, upgrade and commission PLC and HMI programs using Siemens, Allen‑Bradley and Wonderware tools.
• Disassemble, reassemble and commission equipment according to Tetra Pak standards.
• Promote a safe working culture and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and act as a brand ambassador.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, automation and service of industrial systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively (≈70% of time) for short‑term assignments.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience with Tetra Pak machines or in an FMCG environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Siemens Step7, TIA Portal and WinCC SCADA.
• Experience with Allen‑Bradley RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.
• Knowledge of Wonderware InTouch HMI development tools.
• Hands‑on expertise in PLC programming, HMI configuration and automation troubleshooting.
