About the role

PostCtrl Studio is seeking a full‑time Video Editor to join its on‑site team in Karachi. You will work on diverse client‑driven projects, turning raw footage into compelling visual stories that meet high production standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and edit raw video footage into polished final cuts.
• Integrate motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading to enhance storytelling.
• Prepare and export deliverables for various platforms, adhering to technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and post‑production teammates to interpret briefs and maintain brand consistency.
• Organise project files, manage timelines, and ensure quality control throughout the workflow.

Required profile

• Strong visual storytelling ability and keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Relevant education or professional experience in film, media, design, or a related field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve.
• Expertise in video color grading, balancing, matching and stylising footage.
• Ability to create and integrate motion graphics.
• Understanding of sound design basics, file formats, aspect ratios, codecs and delivery standards.
