Assistant Accountant

About the role

As an Assistant Bookkeeper you will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, maintaining accurate records, processing invoices and payments, and assisting with reconciliations and reporting using Odoo ERP.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and accounting records with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and process purchase and sales invoices
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including follow‑ups
• Record payments, expenses, and receipts
• Perform regular bank reconciliations
• Assist with inventory management and stock reconciliation
• Maintain financial records and supporting documents
• Perform data entry and help prepare accounting reports in Odoo ERP
• Verify transactions and ensure data integrity across records

Required profile

• Degree or qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience is an advantage
• Fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Working knowledge of accounting software (Odoo ERP experience is a plus)
