AWS Solutions Architect (2 positions)

About the role

The role involves leading discovery sessions with clients, translating business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and cost‑effective AWS solutions, and guiding migration and modernization initiatives. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and partner teams to deliver production‑grade cloud architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, gather requirements, and produce architecture diagrams aligned with AWS services.
• Create implementation roadmaps, cost estimates, and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Design migration and modernization strategies, conduct proofs of concept, and evaluate technical solutions.
• Mentor DevOps engineers, review IaC code, and define security, governance, and operational standards across AWS accounts.
• Manage AWS Partner Network activities, account administration, billing, and compliance in coordination with AWS representatives.
• Implement AWS Well‑Architected Framework best practices and maintain architecture documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of cloud infrastructure experience, including at least 1 year designing production AWS architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Active AWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification (Professional or specialty preferred).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and stakeholder‑management experience.

Required skills

• AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ALB, Route 53, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Auto Scaling.
• AWS governance: Organizations, Control Tower, Service Control Policies.
• Security services: WAF, KMS, Secrets Manager, Security Hub, Inspector, IAM Identity Center.
• Database services: relational and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, Aurora).
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (plus CloudFormation or CDK as a plus).
• Containerization: Docker, Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS.
• Architecture diagram tools: Draw.io, Lucidchart, Cloudcraft.
