Branch Audit Team Member

About the role

Sindh Bank Limited is seeking a motivated professional to join its Audit Division as a Branch Audit Team Member. The incumbent will assist in conducting branch audits, reviewing banking transactions, and evaluating compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct audits and reviews across branches, divisions, and units as outlined in the Audit Plan or assigned by the Chief Internal Auditor.
• Execute audit procedures to verify the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies, rules, and regulations.
• Gather sufficient, reliable evidence, maintain proper documentation, and prepare audit working papers.
• Analyze findings, identify reportable observations, assess regulatory compliance, and communicate risks to relevant branches or divisions.
• Assist in drafting audit reports, incorporating management responses, and maintaining organized audit files.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of banking or financial institution experience in an audit function.
• Sound knowledge of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
• Graduate degree, preferably ACCA, MBA, or M.Com from an HEC‑recognized institution.
• Age up to 50 years.

Required skills

• Understanding of internal audit procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to prepare clear audit documentation and reports.
