Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Millsdale is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to turn complex data into actionable insights. The role focuses on building interactive dashboards, developing data models, and supporting decision‑making across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that clearly present business insights.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Create and optimise data models ensuring integrity and efficiency for reporting.
• Execute ETL processes, using Power Query and DAX for data transformation and calculations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.

Required profile

• At least three years of hands‑on experience with SQL and Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to interpret data accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑directed, comfortable working on ambiguous challenges and providing reasoned recommendations.
