Chinese Translator/Interpreter

About the role

Finleap is seeking an experienced Chinese Translator/Interpreter to bridge communication between its Chinese management/HQ and local teams in Pakistan. The role involves real‑time interpretation and document translation across Mandarin Chinese, English, and Urdu for meetings, HR discussions, interviews, and business communications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate real‑time and consecutive interpretation between Mandarin Chinese, English and Urdu.
• Translate business, HR, operational and management documents, including policies, reports, presentations, and emails.
• Support Chinese management during meetings, interviews, and employee discussions.
• Facilitate clear communication between Chinese HQ and Pakistan‑based teams, resolving language‑related misunderstandings.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive HR, employee and business information.
• Offer administrative and coordination assistance to Chinese management as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Translation, Linguistics, Communications or a related field.
• HSK Level 6 certification (required) and HSKK Advanced (preferred).
• Minimum 3–4 years of professional translation/interpretation experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, English and Urdu with strong spoken and written skills.
• Experience working with Chinese management or Chinese companies in Pakistan is an advantage.
• Experience in fintech, financial services, technology or similar corporate environments is preferred.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality and cross‑cultural awareness.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with translation tools (advantageous).
