Core PHP Developer (3+ yrs) – Lahore

About the role

We are seeking a Core PHP Developer with at least three years of professional experience to join our client’s offshore office in Johar Town, Lahore. The role involves building and maintaining dynamic web applications using PHP, WordPress, and Shopify technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain PHP/MySQL based websites and web applications.
• Create custom WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce extensions.
• Integrate Shopify APIs and build responsive e‑commerce solutions.
• Implement front‑end features using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript and React.
• Write clean, object‑oriented code and ensure code quality through version control.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot issues and optimise performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of commercial PHP development experience.
• Strong command of English communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work onsite from 09:00 AM to 07:00 PM, five days a week.

Required skills

• Core PHP, OOP, and PHP frameworks.
• WordPress theme, plugin and WooCommerce development.
• Shopify platform and API integration.
• MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Front‑end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, jQuery, JavaScript, Typescript, React.
• Version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, CVS, SVN.
• RESTful APIs, AJAX, JSON, XML.
