Country CEO / Managing Director – Pakistan

About the role

Bitget is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Country CEO/Managing Director for Pakistan. The role combines executive leadership with direct regulatory accountability under PVARA, ensuring the firm operates safely, compliantly, and responsibly within the digital assets ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction aligned with Board‑approved business plans.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across trading, technology, operations, and customer support.
• Maintain adequate financial, operational, and human resources to match the scale of activities.
• Implement robust corporate governance, internal controls, and escalation procedures.
• Lead senior management and ensure independence of key control functions such as Compliance, Legal, Risk, MLRO, Finance, and Technology.
• Represent Bitget with regulators, banking partners, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
• Protect clients, market integrity, and the reputation of Pakistan’s virtual assets ecosystem.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of senior management experience in financial services, fintech, digital assets, or regulated trading venues.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex organisations and drive strategic growth.
• Strong understanding of Pakistan’s virtual assets regulatory framework (PVARA).
• Proven track record of building compliance cultures and managing regulatory relationships.
