Senior Accountant with US GAAP experience

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant with deep expertise in US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The role involves managing financial accounting, preparing accurate statements, and supporting both internal and external audits while providing valuable financial insights to the business.

Key responsibilities

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Produce error‑free accounting reports and present findings.
• Analyze financial data, summarize status, and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Provide technical support on management accounting and recommend system enhancements.
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers, overseeing their work.
• Participate in financial standards setting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Prepare financial statements and budgets on schedule.
• Assist with tax audits, tax returns, and ensure compliance during internal and external audits.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes and develop internal controls.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably as a senior accountant or financial controller.
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and US GAAP.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month‑end/year‑end close.
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant certification such as CMA or CPA is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quantitative aptitude.
