Data Scientist - Python (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to join a leading technology company on a remote basis. The role focuses on building, training and optimizing AI models, evaluating their performance and collaborating with researchers and annotators on reinforcement learning with human feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyse results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce clear explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong reasoning and technical expertise.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proven ability to extract insights from public databases and apply business sense.
• Strong bug‑fixing capabilities and experience writing thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
