Deputy Manager Finance

About the role

Hayat is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Lahore team as an Assistant Manager Finance – Accounting. The role will oversee key accounting activities, financial reporting, cash flow management and ensure accurate and timely financial information for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Handle financial queries from internal departments and headquarters.
• Monitor procedures for checking and authorising payments.
• Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow, daily bank reports, monthly CAPEX and direct cash flow reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile with local and foreign vendors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including employee expense reimbursements.
• Ensure proper withholding tax deduction, timely tax deposits and filing of tax returns.
• Coordinate external audits and provide required documentation.
• Support budgeting activities and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Liaise with banks on financial matters and maintain accounting controls.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes and day‑to‑day financial information systems.

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or CA Finalist.
• 6–8 years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Strong background in financial accounting, reconciliations, cash flow, taxation, budgeting and reporting.
• Experience coordinating external audits and handling vendor, banking and inter‑company transactions.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Business One.
• Good English communication skills.
