DevOps Engineer – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a global IT services leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that accelerate software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production and staging issues, and ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and integrations.
• Apply security best practices throughout infrastructure and deployment processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and branching strategies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
