Director of Program Management – Remote, $200k/year

About the role

We are seeking a Director of Program Management to lead the execution infrastructure for a fast‑growing AI‑driven education platform that compresses a full day of learning into two hours. The role is fully remote and reports directly to senior leadership, providing the data and analysis needed for high‑stakes executive decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and continuously improve portfolio‑level dashboards covering 10+ concurrent initiatives, using AI to normalize status inputs, flag delays and present a clear executive view of progress, financial health and risk exposure.
• Conduct scheduled vendor performance assessments and manage structured scorecards that combine delivery outcomes, quality metrics, cost performance, contractual adherence and qualitative evaluations.
• Lead competitive procurement processes for technology vendors, including drafting standardized bid requests, creating side‑by‑side comparisons, developing evaluation frameworks, and delivering data‑driven selection recommendations.
• Oversee contract and invoice governance by monitoring rate limits, milestone conditions, acceptance criteria and contract amendments, and verify invoice accuracy before payment authorization.
• Apply AI‑enabled tools daily to analyze portfolio data, identify outliers, generate decision‑ready materials and eliminate repetitive administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience building dashboards, tracking milestones and managing vendors in complex, multi‑project environments.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks, and to surface critical issues before they impact delivery.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on providing actionable insights that enable senior executives to make rapid, high‑value decisions.
• Comfort operating with high accountability, including oversight of multi‑million‑dollar commitments.
• Experience working with AI or advanced analytics tools to streamline reporting and decision‑making processes.
