Director of Vendor Program Management (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is building an AI‑powered education model that delivers a full day of academic progress in just two hours. As Director of Vendor Program Management you will own the execution layer that synchronises dozens of initiatives, technology partners, contracts and investment decisions, providing executives with trustworthy data to act quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Own portfolio‑level dashboards for 10+ concurrent initiatives, using AI to standardise updates, detect slippage and present a trusted executive view of delivery, budget and risk.
• Run recurring vendor performance reviews and maintain rubric‑based scorecards that combine delivery, quality, cost, contractual commitments and qualitative signals.
• Lead competitive technology‑vendor procurement, creating structured bid packages, normalized comparisons, scoring rubrics, statements of work and evidence‑backed recommendations.
• Govern contracts and invoices by tracking fee caps, milestones, acceptance criteria and amendments, and validate invoices against signed terms before spend approval.
• Use AI daily to analyse portfolio data, surface anomalies, draft decision‑ready outputs and reduce manual PMO administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vendor program or portfolio management with a strong focus on execution and measurable outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain data‑driven dashboards and scorecards that influence senior‑level decisions.
• Comfort with leading procurement processes, contract governance and financial controls.
• Hands‑on mindset that treats AI as a core operating tool rather than an occasional productivity trick.
