Divisional Head IS & Continuous Auditing

About the role

The Divisional Head of Information Systems (IS) & Continuous Auditing will lead the bank's IS audit function, ensuring robust risk assessment, audit planning, execution and reporting across core banking applications and related regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple IS audit assignments, delivering high‑quality reports on time.
• Develop audit plans, execute fieldwork, and oversee audit closure activities.
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments for core banking systems and other banking applications.
• Mentor and train audit staff at various levels of expertise.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of banking operations, regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification with CISA certification, or a Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science plus CISA.
• 6–7 years of middle‑management experience, including 3–4 years in IT/IS audit within the banking sector.
• Strong organizational, analytical and decision‑making abilities.

Required skills

• CISA certification.
• In‑depth knowledge of Information Systems audit principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Core Banking Systems and related banking applications.
