Senior MERN Stack Engineer

About the role

MergeStack is a leading software development company that creates transformative digital solutions. We are looking for a Senior MERN Stack Engineer to drive both front‑end and back‑end development for high‑traffic, public‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure seamless performance across different browsers and devices.
• Develop and implement front‑end architecture that brings UI concepts to life.
• Tackle technical issues head‑on, offering solutions that keep projects on track.
• Create detailed design documentation to guide development.
• Dive into both client‑side and server‑side development.
• Create secure RESTful web services using XML, JSON, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience as a MERN Stack Developer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience with consumer web development for high‑traffic, public‑facing applications.
• Capability to manage and lead a team of developers.
• Familiarity with continuous integration (GitHub Actions) and version control (Git).
• Experience in software development and testing.
