Electrical & Instrumentation Artisan – Process Plant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Artisan to maintain and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, PLC, VFD, control, and utility systems in a high‑volume process plant. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, calibration, and SAP work‑order management while ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain 99.5%+ plant availability with rapid fault resolution.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults in process, utilities, and sub‑station equipment.
• Ensure proper operation of motors, drives, PLC‑controlled systems, and electrical panels.
• Document all maintenance activities and follow approved SOPs.
• Adhere to LOTO, PPE, PepsiCo, EHS, and QFS standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and support continuous safety improvement.
• Support QFS audits and ensure equipment meets hygiene and quality requirements.

Required profile

• DAE in Electrical (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on electrical maintenance experience in FMCG, manufacturing, industrial, or process‑plant environments.

Required skills

• Industrial wiring and troubleshooting.
• PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet).
• Motor and drive expertise (PowerFlex, Danfoss, SEW).
• Safety switches and relays (Rockwell).
• Instrument calibration (TT, PT, FT, LT) and FL710E.
• Magnetic vibrator controllers, load‑cell and weight controllers.
• Pneumatic valves, cylinders, positioners, solenoid valves.
• SCADA systems (Wonderware, FactoryTalk, PanelView).
• Deepsea bumpless system operation.
• ACB & VCB operation and maintenance.
• Industrial UPS (Vertiv, APC) maintenance.
• Electrical maintenance of compressors, burners, chillers, generators, AHU, dehumidifiers, and water‑treatment plants.
• Reading electrical drawings and schematics.
• SAP work‑order processing.
