Project Director

About the role

GE Vernova Hydro Power is looking for a Project Director to lead the delivery of large hydro‑power projects. The role carries full profit‑and‑loss responsibility, ensures customer satisfaction and drives project performance across the assigned cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute one or more large‑scale hydro‑power projects, managing budgets, operating plans and financial KPIs.
• Lead and develop Project Managers within the cluster, setting priorities, monitoring performance and fostering talent.
• Act as the primary escalation point for external customers, maintaining strong relationships and addressing issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align project execution with company policies and operational objectives.
• Interpret business challenges, recommend best practices and drive continuous improvement in products, processes and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/or Business Management.
• Proven experience in managing complex, multi‑disciplinary projects with financial accountability.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop teams.
• Excellent analytical abilities to evaluate information and make data‑driven decisions.
