Electrical Systems Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to work remotely on a contract basis, supporting a global engineering services leader. The role involves overseeing electrical system installations, conducting field inspections, and ensuring safety compliance across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements during all field activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial settings using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electrical system diagnostics and field operations in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
