Production Engineer (Lean Manufacturing)

About the role

Haier is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to lead day‑to‑day operations at its TV‑SDA factory. The role focuses on planning, executing, and continuously improving production processes to achieve high‑quality output with maximum efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily production activities to meet output targets while optimizing manpower, materials, and machinery.
• Lead a team of 40 production personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor key production metrics such as Units Per Man Hour (UPMH), Units Per Hour (UPH), and manpower utilization.
• Collaborate with materials management to optimize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Evaluate processes and equipment for technological upgrades or enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Prepare performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least three years of experience in production engineering or a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage a production team and meet production targets.
