Electrical Systems Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to join a leading engineering services firm on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location while supporting field operations across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements such as NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial environments using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electrical system diagnostics and field operations in industrial or commercial settings.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA and local electrical safety regulations.
• Hands‑on use of multimeters, oscilloscopes and thermal imaging devices.
