English Language & Personality Development Trainer

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic English Language & Personality Development Trainer to join COTHM in Islamabad. The role involves delivering engaging lessons that cover the structural aspects of English as well as its sociolinguistic variations, while also fostering personal growth among students.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive lessons on phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, and meaning.
• Teach sociolinguistic and historical perspectives of English, highlighting regional and social variations.
• Use active‑learning techniques, data‑driven analysis and multimedia resources to examine real‑world language samples such as advertisements and dialect recordings.
• Prepare, administer and grade assignments, quizzes and examinations that assess both theory and practical analysis.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on transcription exercises, essays and research projects.
• Hold regular office hours or review sessions to support students needing additional help.

Required profile

• Strong command of English language and its linguistic concepts.
• Experience in teaching or training adult learners.
• Ability to explain abstract linguistic ideas in a clear, accessible manner.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
