Executive – Transport & Fiber Operations

About the role

The Executive – Transport & Fiber Operations will oversee the maintenance of metro, metro‑access and carrier networks across four exchanges in Lahore (Garden Town, Data Center, Faisal Town and Gulberg). The role combines corrective and preventive activities to ensure network availability and meet operational KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Restore cable cuts within SLA/KPIs and perform preventive maintenance (PMR) of underground and aerial routes.
• Replace problematic aerial cables, underground joints and relocate network sections before mega‑projects.
• Coordinate with civic agencies, hangers, static guards and patrolling agencies to minimise repeated cuts.
• Repair handholes, place covers, and ensure proper vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), submit p‑deposit bills and manage FMC duty charts.
• Lead day‑to‑day staff matters, including duty scheduling and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecom, Computer or Software Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in network or fiber operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and innovative thinking abilities.
