Financial Auditor & Accountant (IFRS)

About the role

Dekalb Trade Voice seeks a dedicated Financial Auditor and Accountant to manage financial reporting, audit planning, and compliance with IFRS and Pakistani tax regulations. The role supports manufacturing and trading operations, ensuring accurate records and robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions, cash flow, and liquidity.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Ensure timely compliance with Pakistan tax laws and FBR filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants during audit cycles.
• Review vouchers, payments, and receipts for accuracy.
• Evaluate and test internal control systems to identify financial risks.
• Conduct risk assessments and verify inventory and asset records.
• Monitor SAP or Oracle Financials for data integrity and optimal use.
• Assist in billing activities and cashier operations.
• Develop procedures to improve cost control and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or equivalent professional certification (ACCA, CA).
• Minimum three years of practical experience in bookkeeping, corporate accounting, or auditing.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Knowledge of IFRS and Pakistani tax regulations.
