Operations Officer – Exchange Services

About the role

AL Habib Exchange Company is seeking an Operations Officer to join its Operations Department in Karachi. The role involves ensuring that exchange transactions and related operational processes are executed accurately, efficiently and in line with established procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Process and review operational transactions and exchanges, maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Verify documentation for completeness and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with branch teams and internal departments to facilitate smooth transaction flow.
• Prepare operational reports and support reconciliation and audit activities.
• Identify and resolve operational discrepancies within required timelines.
• Support compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline).
• Minimum three years of professional experience in operations, exchange companies, banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to work with detailed financial information and follow established procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
