FMCG Buyer – Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for an experienced FMCG Buyer to manage demand for sub‑distributors, corporate and HORECA clients. The role combines business development, procurement and supply‑chain coordination to ensure timely product availability and growth in the Pakistani market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, onboard and develop relationships with sub‑distributors, corporate accounts and HORECA clients.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and supply volumes with manufacturers and distributors.
• Create and expand FMCG market segments and distribution channels.
• Maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers, brand owners and channel partners.
• Analyse market trends, competitor pricing and consumer demand to guide purchasing decisions.
• Prepare sales forecasts, procurement plans and regular performance reports.
• Ensure on‑time order fulfillment and proactively resolve supply‑chain or delivery issues.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance and warehousing teams to streamline operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of proven experience in FMCG buying, procurement or bulk sales.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG landscape in Pakistan.
• Demonstrated success in business development with sub‑distributors, corporate and HORECA clients.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with focus on margins, volumes and market trends.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems.
