HR Generalist

About the role

This role serves as the primary point of contact for employee queries, ensures compliance with HR policies and local labor laws, and drives improvements across People Operations processes. You will partner with Payroll, Talent Acquisition, L&D, and Compensation & Benefits teams while independently managing special projects and CSR initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee queries related to policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
• Support managers with day‑to‑day people issues and escalate complex employee‑relations matters as needed.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives such as All‑Hands meetings and internal communications.
• Maintain and update the HR Manual and internal policy documentation.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc HR reports and metrics (headcount, turnover, engagement, etc.).
• Partner with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Support Talent Acquisition, L&D, and Compensation & Benefits COEs in program rollouts.
• Independently manage special HR projects and CSR initiatives assigned by the VP, People Operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, People Operations, or a similar HR support role.
• Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, employment law, and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information.
• Prior exposure to telecom, technology, or service‑based industries is preferred.
• HR certification such as SHRM‑CP or PHR is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel/Sheets.
