HR Manager – Build People Function from Scratch

About the role

Milkiyat.com is scaling its sales, content and operations teams and needs a proactive HR Manager to design and launch the people function from the ground up. You will be the key driver of recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compliance and culture for a fast‑growing PropTech startup.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for sales, content and technology roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and extending offers.
• Design and implement an onboarding process that gets new hires productive within their first week.
• Manage payroll, attendance, leave records and maintain accurate employee documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Pakistani labour law, EOBI and provincial social security requirements.
• Set up performance reviews, KPIs and incentive structures, especially for commission‑based field sales teams.
• Handle employee relations, grievances and retention initiatives.
• Shape and nurture the company culture as the organization continues to grow.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of HR experience, with a mix of generalist and recruitment responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistani labour law and statutory compliance.
• Experience hiring field sales teams is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working with HRIS and payroll systems and maintaining clean records.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Ability to make fair, firm decisions that set lasting precedents.
