IT Engineer – Systems & Network

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Engineer with hands‑on experience in systems administration and network management to maintain, monitor, and optimise our IT infrastructure for seamless business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking equipment.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless issues.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and file servers.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular system backups, disaster‑recovery operations, and software patching.
• Provide technical support to end‑users, resolving hardware, software, and network problems.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades, procurement, and projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a System/Network Engineer or IT Support Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches and firewalls.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy Management and virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V).
