Legal Assistant – Litigation & Contract Support

About the role

Petrosin Engineering Pvt Ltd is seeking a diligent Legal Assistant to support its Legal Department. The role focuses on effective litigation management, contract preparation, and comprehensive legal research, all performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and organize court files and related documentation for ongoing litigations.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts in line with company policies and legal regulations.
• Conduct thorough legal research on Civil, Corporate, and Commercial Laws.
• Prepare clear legal correspondence for internal stakeholders, advocates, courts, and government departments.
• Coordinate appointment schedules, court dates, and meetings with external legal parties.
• Monitor legal deadlines and filing requirements to ensure compliance.
• Compile and prepare legal documents and reports as needed.
• Handle urgent legal matters under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant legal frameworks.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant legal experience.
• LL.B degree.
• Strong understanding of Civil, Corporate, and Commercial Laws.
• Excellent drafting, research, and written communication skills.
• High level of organization and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proactive, dependable, and able to work under pressure.
