Logistics & Distribution Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Logistics & Distribution Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end flow of goods from warehouses to distributors and customers in Karachi. The role ensures timely deliveries, cost efficiency, safety compliance, and high service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily distribution operations to guarantee accurate and on‑time product delivery.
• Coordinate activities among transporters, warehouse teams, drivers, and logistics staff.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with Sales and Supply Chain to prevent stock outs or overstocking.
• Manage relationships with third‑party logistics (3PL) providers.
• Track, analyze, and report distribution KPIs such as delivery timelines, vehicle utilization, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate and resolve shipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align delivery requirements with business goals.
• Assist in budgeting and cost‑target adherence.
• Support implementation and use of WMS and TMS systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in logistics, distribution or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong understanding of distribution processes, transportation management and inventory control.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience with Transport Management System (TMS) or similar logistics software.
