M&A Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a leading technology, information and internet company on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while handling high‑impact mergers and acquisitions that shape digital innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate merger and acquisition agreements, including purchase, asset purchase, and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on target entities to identify legal risks and liabilities.
• Advise on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters related to M&A transactions.
• Coordinate with finance, tax, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Ensure all transaction documentation complies with legal standards and mitigates potential liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar association.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling M&A transactions.
• Experience with both domestic and cross‑border M&A deals.

Required skills
