About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research initiatives for a global software development leader. This remote position blends deep legal expertise with technical problem‑solving to ensure our products meet evolving regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to guide product decisions.
• Develop technical frameworks and tools that automate legal‑research workflows.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance in product development.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proven experience with regulatory analysis and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
