Music Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a Music Teacher to develop students' musical abilities and prepare them for assemblies, national events, cultural programs, and other school activities. The role involves planning engaging lessons, guiding performances, and fostering a love for music among students of various ages.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct age‑appropriate music lessons and activities.
• Train students in national anthems, patriotic songs, cultural songs, and school songs.
• Prepare students for assemblies, annual functions, cultural events, competitions, and other performances.
• Organise and lead music practice sessions for school events.
• Develop students' singing, rhythm, coordination, and basic musical skills.
• Maintain discipline, ensure proper use of musical instruments, and coordinate with teachers and management for event preparations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in music, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant teaching or music experience (preferred).
• Strong singing, musical, communication, and student‑management abilities.
• Creative, confident, disciplined, and student‑focused approach.
