NOC Specialist - Network Operations (L2 Support)

About the role

JazzWorld is looking for a Specialist/Expert Fix Network NOC (L1/L2) in Lahore to join its Network Operations team. The role covers 24/7 monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting and Level 2 support of Transport and IP networks across Microwave, Optical and IP environments, supporting nationwide operations and FIX customers. It is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys solving complex network issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and support Transport and IP networks across Microwave, Optical, IP and FIX customer environments on a 24/7 shift basis.
• Configure, test and troubleshoot Juniper, Huawei and Cisco network equipment, including SRX, ASA and Fortinet environments.
• Provide L2 network support to nationwide field and operational teams, resolving network issues promptly.
• Analyze network faults, hardware and software issues and drive incidents to resolution and closure.
• Carry out proactive analysis of recurring outages, find root causes and work with teams to prevent repeat incidents.
• Support nationwide network rollouts, new deployments and operational activities.
• Perform network performance and security checks and support hardware, software and security upgrades.
• Identify network risks and faults proactively and ensure timely follow-up and closure.

Required profile

• 4-6 years of experience in IP, Transport, NOC or network operations.
• BS degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper, Huawei and Cisco networking technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and root-cause analysis skills.
• Preferred: JNCIP, CCNP, HCNP or equivalent certification.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive, ownership-driven approach.
