POS Operations Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Petrosin Engineering Pvt Ltd seeks a meticulous POS Operations Specialist to manage and support the daily operations of its Point of Sale system. Working remotely, you will ensure the POS infrastructure runs smoothly, data remains accurate, and inventory processes are optimised.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the POS system to guarantee seamless retail transactions.
• Design, generate and analyse sales and inventory reports for management insight.
• Prepare minimum stock level reports and monitor inventory to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Process purchase requests based on stock analysis and coordinate with procurement and operations teams.
• Identify fast‑moving and slow‑moving items to support demand forecasting.
• Maintain accurate item master data, including product details, pricing and supplier information.
• Provide user support and basic troubleshooting for POS‑related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in POS operations, inventory management or related retail functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple departments.
• Excellent organizational skills and commitment to data integrity.
